Chris Nickolas Jr, age 43, New Franklin, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Friday, April 8, 2022 in San Diego, CA. Chris was born July 1, 1978 in Canton, Ohio. He attended school at Manchester HS and Malone College. He started his own business called Steammaster Carpet in 2018 and worked very hard to make it a successful business. He would tell you his biggest accomplishment was his three children that he loved very much. Chris loved sports especially Cleveland Browns, Indians, and the Cavs. He attended Manchester football games every season and loved Coach France. Chris is survived by his mother Vickie Goldstein and step-father Scott Goldstein from Wooster and his father Chris Nickolas from Canton, his three children Layla, Lily, and Brantley Nickolas all from Akron, his fiancé Ashley Hite from their home, sister Lindsay Blough (Greg), brother Kenny Goldstein (Ranae) both from Wooster, his Grandmother Lucille Hull (Cal) from CA, his nephews Landon Blough and Wesley Goldstein, and his niece Hadley Blough all from Wooster. Also his aunts Cheryl Norman from Florida, Penny Forsch (Ed) from Massillon, Nikki Bright (Richard) from Massillon, Jeanne Anker (Bill) from CA, his uncles Glen Willis (Dominque) from Massillon, Gary Plott from Florida, and Gus Nickolas from Canton. He had many cousins and 2nd cousins that he was very close to including one of his favorites Samantha Acree. Chris was proceeded in death by his Grandmother Carol Willis and Grandfather Gus Nickolas Sr. Chris will be cremated in California and there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be done sometime in May. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity. Our family would like to thank all the people that supported Chris in his life and business. We would also like to remind people to be kind to people that have struggles in their lives because they are working and trying harder than most to survive. Chris was able to overcome a lot in his lifetime and we would like for him to be remembered as a good son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, entrepreneur, friend, coach, and a partner and fiancé to the love of his life Ashley.
